This shows a lot about your level of understanding on how Olympus functions. Deadpool doesn't have a shred of power when it comes to hacking prevention. He literally cannot do anything. This is a public post about a position that he was granted. There is ZERO relation to the hacking issue and this. Even I have limited abilities in what is actually going to solve the problems. Sure I like any other admin can go account to account trying to set back the money. We could check logs for days on end, tracing the money and getting rid of assets. But in the end that will get us no where if it keeps happening. To give you more information - what should probably be done - a rollback, more hacker prevention, etc, is getting worked on and we should be having less issues soon. Fingers crossed we can expect a post to be made on whats happening within the next day or two. The people with the ability, knowledge, and power - the Senior Devs, are working on it. Belittling the staff isn't helping anything. Going from post to post complaining about the hackers and lack of admin action is not doing any justice. You got your point out in the post you made. No need to spam the rest of the forums with it. Deadpool is with you. I am with you. Olympus is with you. We all want it to stop - but at the end of the day those without the ability to do much just need to keep carrying on. We can't have everyone shut down and quit contributing because the servers have been getting fucked the past few weeks.

This DLC is supposed to release in a weird fashion. It’s a Bohemia DLC but it’s not at the same time. I do not know if the assets are being released publicly and what kind of paywalls are being set up. Assuming the best, we would still have to find the balance in weapons and vehicles. I’ll tell you this it’ll look fugly as shit though due to it being Cold War setting and then running around with “2035” weapons.

We will discuss balance in a meeting if it is determined that it will be needed by SAPD. SAPD were the ones to remove stings - I imagine they will likely be making a return

To defend Ares - the stack of harder donation goals was all with Peter. The reason we got behind were those goals. Ares as only made and approved the current April donation goal

Probably would do them for free if we are that badly in need of them. The reason we are not at that DEFCON status yet is that it is *looking* like we are going to hit a better road here as college classes wind down and IRL starts to let us spend more time with Olympus. We are trying our best okay? But seriously it’s not the easiest to remain caught up with 5 elaborate donation goals in a row (mind you developers aren’t the ones to usually come up with it - we just get told to do it) and have a very active civilian council plus have senior development focusing on the battle with hackers and other back end things. Not to mention not a single developer gets paid for their work and we all have pretty busy lives. Passive Perks has been a shit show as they continuously are getting adjusted and we are still waiting on finalized perks from a faction (can’t entirely blame them cause they had to be denied late but still - can’t code anything if it’s not approved) Next update will get us caught up with donation goals with the exception of the bank. That requires lots of work and it hasn’t been a priority. It will also get the tasing script fixed (which was NOT easy) and a bucketload of other changes. In addition, due to development priorities and IRL situations, the physically update comes to the work of only a couple developers (not to include the designers work - they work separately and all seem to have done an amazing job) In any free time that I have been getting I have been working on some extra goodies for people as well as some back burner tasks. Like fuck me I always wondered why old developers lost passion/ seemed disgruntled at times and now a think I understand at least a few reasons why. It’s a real shame that people who don’t even donate feel so entitled to getting the donor reward within the next month it’s met. We try but can’t always succeed. It’s an online community - NOT my full time job. I get you guys want new content. It's coming. I am just asking you guys to take some time and understand why it might take a bit to get the new content.

Going to have him post it public so eyes open for that. Still doesn’t mean that they should be comparable to other runs since they are lower risk, but yeah they do need to be higher.

I don't disagree and never said I did in regards to the economic issue. There IS an issue and it needs to be fixed. Slowly. However if you once again look at the stats you'll see the overwhelming amount cops make is NOT from tickets paid. **EDIT**: I did look at this stat and noticed a discrepancy in the way it was handled coding wise. So there is a good chance this isn't correct currently. Should be fixed next update. While your were good civilian council member, I have to say the one flaw I saw in you and see in a lot of the other current members is that you focused on the wrong reasoning for wanting a change, or you focused on a solution to the problem that in its end actually creates new problems in the process. Fixes need to happen, however spending hours duking out whether or not a simple , tickets paid increase - temporary perk in the donation goal is bad isn't getting change done.

You are throwing a hissy fit for no reason. If it was a cop only or majority goal then yeah that is a problem. But when it is ONE perk out of two or three in just a SINGLE donor goal (some of these will probably be used for future goals), and a goal that literally attempts to provide incentive to a little more cop RP (as opposed to any other type of discount or increase), then this is literally not an issue. Not even in the slightest with this context. A single perk in a much larger goal to cater towards people who enjoy spending time on the specific faction is not at all much to ask for. While you bring a valid point up, the idea of restricting donation goals to civilians only is not an issue of ability to play, but most certainly this argument is developed to contribute to the absurd polarization of the factions.
