Man now this was a great read. Olympus was “going to die” when Poseidon went over there too. The server has been up and relevant since 2014, when it dies it will be because Altis Life dies.

I played a server when @Hades banned me for “scripting” and they had a human trafficking thing where you could just bring people to this spot by Pyrgos and you had to pick cotton to get out faster. I actually wish it was on here

I mean the group cap thing sounds great to me but it seems a lot of people don’t like it. As far as the cop stack thing, it something that should’ve been done a long time ago. Not only because of federal events but during peak time it’s impossible to do anything because there’s 15 cops on with 5 heli units out across the map so civs can’t do anything illegal. It’s also boring to play cop when there’s a ton of cops because you can only check a few redzones. I don’t see a cop stack prevention ever happening but I hope I’m wrong.

Well yeah it’s a waste of time if you can make money on medic or cop but other than that you don’t really have a choice. The main thing is the stunned player base. If you got 90 rich people killing 3 new players doing a coke run then the servers will die. A limited time server is just kinda what has to happen when Arma 3 is so old and doesn’t have a big Altis life player base anymore. And I’m not going directly at you, a lot of people have been saying a similar thing so just want this out there so people have an idea why it can’t happen.

The problem with that is if people have shit tons of a money then they stop doing runs all together and the game becomes boring as shit and the player base stops growing because it they start doing runs to try to get started they just get robbed by people that don’t care about money. That’s why we had a wipe a few years ago.

Honestly imma have to disagree. I’d rather have a few servers with 90 people on it late night rather than 50-60 across 3. Winter break is too inconsistent on when people are out of school
