I’ve actually got a 10.5” 5.56 PSA. I’ve got about 1500 rounds through it. Haven’t oiled or cleaned it. No malfunctions yet, and I run mostly Tula 55gr .223 through it. I did upgrade to a BCM handguard though. The OEM one kept walking loose. My dad’s .300 BLK doesn’t have that problem. I can agree their QC could be better, but $590 (if you include the price of the handguard) for a gun that runs like a top is good for me.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a pistol mounted rds? I was looking at the Trijicon RMR and the Vortex Venom but any input would be appreciated

I’d also recommend suppressor-height night sights as backup sights. Check out Trijicon or Night Fision for that.

If it's for carry, then give the RMR a look. Give the Holosun 507C a look as well. As I understand it, the 507C uses the same mounting hardware as the RMR and it's just as sturdy, but at half the cost. Do your research first. If you do decide on the RMR, make sure it's the RMR Type 2. The Type 1 has a tendency to flicker under recoil.

You'd like the Senior APD they have now, Rogue. You can combat log on civ, lie about it to the Senior APD, and only receive a one-week suspension for it! Could you imagine what would've happened to me if I only gave you a one-week suspension for your Mass-RDM on Civ? I'd have been fired on the spot!
