Recommended Posts

This rule change will be effective immediately.

Post any questions/concerns below.

Chapter V - Hostage Situations

  1. A hostage situation will require a dispatch to be sent to the APD in order for them to be acted upon accordingly.

Chapter XII - Fines and Penalties

  1. Ticketing Procedure

    1. Deputies are to abide by the ticket values with no deviation from the fine amounts, even in the absence of higher ranking officers.

      1. Deputies are only permitted to issue pardons when there are no Patrol Officers or higher available to grant a discount or pardon.

Chapter XIII - APD Equipment & Ground Vehicles

  1. The Armed Jeep

    1. Armed Jeep Patrol - Armed Jeep patrols are conducted by Corporals and higher. These patrols are utilized for a heavy APD response to large gang actions or high risk rebel activity. (Generally don't pull unless confirmed high activity/high risk/ or over 90+ civilians online).

      1. Minimum Crew - Driver + one Passenger - Corporal or higher must be online.

    2. The Armed Jeep's weapons are only to be used on aerial or illegal vehicles that are operated by a suspect of a crime, or on vehicles in which a suspect is known to have boarded beyond a reasonable doubt.

    3. If giving chase to an aircraft piloted by, or containing, a suspect of a crime, the pilot is to be notified by text message 1 time to land the vehicle or be shot, and given 5 seconds to comply.

      1. Exception: You can fire upon an illegal ground vehicles (including stolen APD Hunters and Striders), if given 1 text message and 5 seconds to comply.

      2. If an aircraft is over water and receives a text from a Armed Jeep it must attempt to land at the nearest body of land. If an aircraft continues to fly out to sea it can be shot down over the water.

    4. If the Armed Jeep is fired upon by a RPG or Titan, the Armed Jeep remains guns hot regardless of wave rule until the engagement has been broken for more than 5 minutes

    5. If hostile action is taken against the Armed Jeep , it may return fire with lethal force without sending a warning text first.

      1. This includes when the Armed Jeep is presented with a clear threat from a RPG or Titan.

    6. The Corporal or higher must be the one to give the directive to use the guns.

      1. Exception: If multiple Armed Jeeps have been disabled in the same situation any Corporals and above may decide to use the Armed Jeep(s) guns hot provided they notify a member of the opposing force to surrender prior.

    7. Once a single Armed Jeep meets guns hot requirements, all Armed Jeeps in the area of engagement may go guns hot without prior warning.

    8. For federal events only, once the prerequisite is met, the Armed Jeep may respond to the federal event with GUNS HOT against all hostile robbery/jailbreak participants.

      1. The prerequisite is defined as:

        1. The bomb blowing at a federal event. (Example: If the bomb blows on wave 5, wave 5 MUST FINISH before the Armed Jeep can come out on Wave 6)

        2. Multiple Armed Jeeps lost, with approval of Corporal or higher.

      2. Once rebels leave the federal event (Inner Anti-Air circle), the Armed Jeep ceases fire and resets to normal Armed Jeep rules.

    9. If a server reset occurs during an active situation and the Armed Jeep was guns hot prior to restart, the Armed Jeep may return to the situation (after restart) GUNS HOT at the rebels still at and/or fleeing the active situation.

Chapter XVII - Communication Channels

  1. Cop and Medic chat

    1. Cops are only authorized to utilize the "APD and R&R chat channel" when an exigent circumstance exists and communication via emergency text message, or direct chat, is not possible or practical.

    2. All communication via the "APD and R&R Chat" should be considered critical in nature.

    3. Officers are able to engage/issue commands via this chat.

Things to Note:

The Armed Jeep is new and these rules are subject to change.

The differences between the Armed Jeep rules and the Ghosthawk rules:

  1. The Armed Jeep can stay guns hot with Titans AND RPGs.
  2. No any means necessary if the Armed Jeep is stolen
  3. No longer do clear threats = guns hot UNLESS it is a Titan or RPG.
  4. 5 seconds to comply instead of 10
  5. Since there is more corporals than seniors we are gonna be a little more uptight on standard usage so that is why patrols are more limited than the hawk

New Things with recent update (Besides Jeep):

Windows key Pardon Button for everyone when windows key interacting with them. This is to replace the 100 dollar ticketing and will help with catching abuse significantly. Same rules apply as $100 tickets before.

You shouldn't need to use Bolt Cutters on Cop anymore. PLEASE REPLY ON THIS POST IF YOU EVERY DO AND EXPLAIN WHY FOR NOW.

Cop and medic channel is gone :( For now use text!!
