There is some level of RP that is required. Cops aren’t going to learn RP from a bitching civilian. Apply for cop and show them how RP is done. Cops will look up to someone that can RP well - and they will learn from that. Posting on the forums isn’t going to do anything. I am not making heavy RP a requirement, I mean ffs it isn’t like it takes a lot to even engage someone as a civilian either. Anyone could argue that “hands up or die” is just as lame as a cop not doing much talking.

This is a light RP server. Go to ALRP or A3L if you are interested in heavier RP. There is no requirement to read rights on this server. There are no judges to issue warrants. Warrants are self-issued on the requirements that are listed in the APD Handbook. I am willing to bet you had a nice bounty on your head, and that is why they arrested you. That being said, if you feel that cops broke any rules that violate the APD handbook, feel free to submit an APD Application that will server as an Internal Affairs report. If you feel they broke a server rule, submit a Player report. In this rank an individual is re-enforcing their knowledge of the rules and learning basic role-play. Deputy’s if at all possible should partner up with a Patrol Officer while playing on the server. Deputies are limited to remaining inside the cities unless they are partnered with a Patrol Officer or higher, or a federal event/pharmaceutical robbery is taking place. Chapter IV - Civilian Interaction Dealing with Vigilantes Vigilantes are subject to all civilian laws. Officers may not take a suspect from a vigilante unless the suspect is wanted for under $75k. Vigilantes are to have their weapons holstered unless acting in defense or in fulfillment of their lawful duties. Vigilantes found abusing their license (see Vigilante Rules) are to be sent to jail immediately. Civilians in possession of a Vigilante License or related gear are required to provide identification upon request. Civilians in possession of a Vigilante License are able to legally carry a Sting 9mm or Vermin .45 ACP.

Well let me try to clarify for everyone: THIS UPDATE IS FOR SENIORS PRETTY MUCH You should still only be pursuing into warzone as you normally would.

The alternative was us being able to raid it pretty much anytime we wanted. Obviously the reasonable suspicion clause will need to be used within reason. Being that you need to be senior APD to even raid it, that’s a pretty easy thing to control.

Chapter XI - Illegal Areas Officers may only enter Rebel outposts and Cartels/Warzone when: There is a Sergeant or higher in the group. At least 3 officers in the squad. The whole wave must all enter code 3, or must all enter "dark" with an intent to verbally engage. No mixing and matching. This is only for each individual wave. Cartels/Warzone may be patrolled by APD during times of high population. The APD may only enter Cartels/Warzone if they have pursued someone into the area or have probable cause to enter (Such as a 911). Exceptions: Reasonable suspicion that an APD member was kidnapped and taken to Cartels/Warzone. Reasonable suspicion of a suspect that you were once in active pursuit of entering a Cartel/Warzone. Once APD have engaged rebel forces in a Cartel/Warzone, they may continue to raid it following standard rebel raid rules until the situation has been neutralized at that Cartel/Warzone. APD May enter Cartels/Warzone and Rebel Outposts for hostage situations. PO or higher to negotiate. Can be accompanied by other officers. Cannot return unless standard Cartel/Rebel prerequisites (mentioned above) are met. APD may escort medics into Cartels/Warzone. (Sergeant or higher needed)

Could I get one of these of the APD handbook? Could come in handy for people like @Google when they don't feel like quoting rules talking in game ^_^

I was just referring to your use of slimy stuff as seniors. Yeah this is around what I would do though if I had knowledge of activity.

I personally find it repulsive. In the same sense that I find it repulsive that some cops roleplay to the bare minimum. Essentially it is not something I am looking to update, just cops shouldn't expect to be perceived as good by any means for that stuff as well as don't expect a promotion coming your way for it.

That to me is an extremist view on camping stuff. If you are actually afraid to enter towns like DP17 and DP25 then you were not taught very well on this issue. In my opinion there is a pretty clear line on what is camping and what is not. Intention of officers, visual on the redzone, movement of officers, and total time doing this can easily dictate whether the intention of someone was to patrol the area or get a peak/camp the redzone. If someone is sitting in DP 17 and doesn't have visual, but is waiting for a car to go burning down the road towards the rebel so he can chase it, he is probably going to get talked to if he does it excessively. If someone is entering DP 17 for the sake of simply patrolling it, catches a few glimpses of rebel on his path around the city but doesn't make that his primary focus and then leaves the area after he deems it clear, then congrats. He did it right. All of you guys seriously expecting immunity from the APD going to your gangshed just because it's 800 meters from a redzone need to sit down and do some thinking. Also - I do not condone camping a gangshed without an actual reason. I find it completely absurd when cops do it just because they see [Tree] on for example. However, as long as it appears to be within the bounds of rules and there is a pure intention of catching criminals, rather than camping a redzone, then I am not going to stop it. Go ahead and elaborate here while your at it. Don't tease us now. Let's hear it. I have had my fair share of watching a gangshed from 1.5km out with some rangefinders. But to my defense there wasn't much going on as well as 9 times out of 10 that I personally have done it, I have had some pretty great reasons like having witnessed civilians there before in that session.
