Time and Place of Event:

Gang Wars XIV will be live at 12:00 pm EST on March 23, 2019.

Fights will be streamed at www.twitch.tv/DramaOlympus

If you miss the livestream we will be keeping the vod up on Twitch and also uploading it to the Olympus Entertainment YouTube channel.

We will only be streaming the Semi Final and Finals to save time so our EU players aren't on for 24 hours straight. We will be having multiple fights happening at different locations at the same time to prevent the event taking up everyones whole day and night.

 

Requirements:

1) Participants must have atleast 300 total hours played on Olympus Servers.

2) Participating Gangs must have atleast $15,000,000 in gang funds before 3/22/2019.

3) Participants must have atleast 25 hours played on the server in the last month.

4) Participating gangs must have been created by March 8th.

5) Participating gangs must have atleast 15 semi-active members in their gang.

 

Exceptions:

Exceptions on any time requirement listed above will be listened to and approved/denied by Kyle, Childish and I on a case by case basis.

 "Career Cop and Medic" gangs will be exempt from gang bank requirements and minimum participant requirements.

Newer Olympus Gangs that fail to meet any requirements above that wish to participate in Gang Wars XIV are strongly encouraged to submit a roster and we will look at each player listed and come to a conclusion if they are genuinely new or are coming from another server with intentions to stay post Gang Wars XIV.

 

Gang Wars XIV Official Rules:

1) Individuals who have been banned in the past for lag-switching, combat exploiting or scripts will be disqualified instantly.

2) You may not currently be banned on Olympus Servers if attempting to participate. If you try to ban evade your account will be permanently banned and your teammates will be disqualified for Gang Wars XIV and future Gang Wars.

3) Rosters must have a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 12 players. Sub lists are restricted to 3 players. If player IDs are not correct your gang will be DQ'd.

4) Must be in Olympus TeamSpeak with gang tags visible by 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on March 23rd.

5) Gang Leaders must be present at the Leader meeting on March 16th at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. If you are not present at this meeting you must send your second in command. Only gang leaders will be allowed at this meeting. If no one shows up for your gang you will be disqualified.

6) At any point during Gang Wars XIV we feel a player or team is out of bounds, exploiting, cheating or in some way not fulfilling the equal fighting gameplay intended for Gang Wars they will be disqualified. Note that this is completely at our discretion.

 

Fight locations:

Gangs leaders will be pulled in together before their match and have a coin flip to decide the location of the fight.

Locations are limited to: OG, Arms Cartel, Ghost Hotel, Kavala, Telos.

 

Rewards:

1) Winner of Gang Wars XIV will receive $3,000,000 per player (not including subs), A gang picture on the Kavala Billboard,

Custom gang uniform, Gang Wars XIV Winners Title for every participating member.

 

2) Runners up of Gang Wars XIV will receive $2,000,000 per player (not including subs) and a Gang Wars XIV Runners Up Title for participating members.

 

3) Third place in Gang Wars XIV will receive $1,000,000 per player (not including subs)

 

Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Gang Wars XIV.

MVP of Gang Wars XIV will be determined by myself, @Childish and @Kyle Lake based on their stats from the whole event and also any "clutch" they may have had that resulted in their Gang winning a round or match. The prize for the MVP will be $5,000,000 in their personal bank, a custom Gang Wars XIV MVP title and a pick of any Black Water Loot item (Excluding: Ghosthawk and Armed Huron)

Rosters are to be submitted by 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on March 16th here:

Failure to enroll by this time will result in your gang not being able to participate in Gang Wars XIV. No exceptions.

 

Closing Statement:

We all appreciate the support you guys give to us everyday that has allowed us to remain a top Altis Life community since 2014. We apologize for the wait between Gang Wars XIII and Gang Wars XIV and as long as myself, Childish and Kyle are staff members in this community we promise to host these way more often as long as the community permits it. We understand a lot of other Altis community fighters planned on fighting in our gang wars but XIV will be focused on growing our Olympus cartel community. Some requirements that hinder other communities from coming over for our event will be removed in future Gang Wars if we can establish more of a cartel playerbase ourselves. We hope these requirements will convince gangs that didn't plan on participating because they aren't as experienced in fighting will change their mind and give it a shot to see if its something that they're interested in. Huge shoutout to the Developers that worked hard to get us the missionfile for the event, @Childish for making all the sheets, brackets and rosters for the event and all the members of the community from Career Cops to past players to players that fight cartels everyday for helping set up what requirements, locations and rules they'd like to see for Gang Wars XIV. Good luck to all participating Gangs and we'll see you at the meetings!

I kinda like em tbh although they are a bit much they make it so that the gangs that do participate are seriously competing.

Sorry you feel that way. Not going to have gangs coming over and winning and selling the money then going back to their server. These requirements won’t affect any Olympus based gangs. The goal of this gang wars is to give the gangs that play on the server what they want and influence gangs that don’t currently fight much incentive to wanting to learn or do it more often. If these are accomplished then Gang Wars 15 will be more free.

This doesn’t feel like the best setting to learn how to fight cartels.  We already show up fully geared to cap and get rook banged by a blind fellow who just had his kidney removed.

If you host a Noob Wars then it may be a little more fit for my level of fighting.  At least I know we can take down [HEX] there.  :D
