Honestly i don't see any flaws in this Olympus revival strategy  other than the current player base  having a poor experience because the people who just got unbanned might still be scripting or breaking rules .But aren't the current players already being harmed by the effects of a depopulated server? 

Rexo has the sense of instating this policy in his faction...

4 1/2 years for me still not long enough clearly, also to be quite frank all of the other servers that did mass unbans found success in unbanning players outside of the same 10 people who cheat and blow up a server everytime they launch the game. This server also has the best anticheat out of all servers that have been out and an actual capable staff team that can catch and ban players now. Just want to come back and play the server that made me fall in love with the game. We are all mostly into our 20s by now and adults I think we are past that and just wanna enjoy the game for what it is and have fun. Also to everyone saying once a cheater always a cheater a current admin and dev quite actually used to blow this server up on the daily and every other server on the game and sell cheats and he changed his ways, why cant others be given the same chance.

New player returning, former cheaters able to play on the server AND play together is diabolical. 

I want to add, I'm nowhere near good enough at this game to determine who is/isn't a cheater, but the teamspeak discussions are concerning regarding relation between former cheaters, and said people who "used to cheat" just being trusted to play here again without recording their gameplay consistently.

If that relationship disturbs you, you should know and understand that the vast majority of busted cheaters on the server are friends with staff.   And staff actively protect them until they can't anymore and they have to ban them for a month.

Seriously, last I heard they were planning on unbanning Monster, which would be the most egregious injustice I've ever seen on the server.  Man ruined the game and chased off people for over a decade using cheats.  Goes out doxxing staff, and they were planning on unbanning him less than a year after he willingly exposed what he'd been doing.  If you forgive a player that chased away thousands of players, youre choosing one player over thousands.

What do you think is it mostly a result of? Complacency of management? I understand the business side of it, especially if they sunk plenty of hours. Since hearing this kind of thing, it's created a second thought of "do I really want to tilt at something immoral that's out of my control". I don't wanna second guess the fairness of gunfights based on bias allegations preventing investigation of unfair gameplay, I'd rather someone is just better than me so I can take it on the chin 😕. Eventually you're going to lose out on that playerbase until it's HvH constantly, right? I'm sure if this was more further looked into, legit new or returning players would be glad to spend good money to support the server. But who the hell wants to spend $500+ for cosmetics and convenience when the integrity of moderation is questionable?
