Here is the deal : · Gang Wars VIII : For The Worthy will be fought on December 17th, 2016 @3pm est. · All gangs must be in Teamspeak in their gang channels @2:45pm est · In order to participate, your gang must be entered into the roster list by no later than 12:00 pm on Friday, December 9th, 2016. · There will be a Gang Leader meeting for the gangs who have entered at 8pm est on Saturday December 10th. If the gang leader cannot show, the second in command can stand in. o If you do not show to this meeting, your gang is disqualified from Gang Wars VIII · Gangs MUST be Olympus based. If the bounty is being split between 1 person (you), you get the same value you would have before this update (0.4 * bounty) If it's being split between 2 players you still get (0.4 * bounty) each. When we had a "cartel island" it nearly killed the server. Jesse and I have been in talks about making some changes to the cartel system, and we are looking at some unique locations, along with a revamp on payouts. Please be patient, as we have a ton on our plates right now.

I don't know how many times I need to say it : ADMINS DON'T PICK THE LOCATIONS. THE GANG LEADERS DO. I also asked about breaking the event up, and making it a best of 3, and it was overwhelmingly declined. Please do some research before breaking my balls.

I use a randomized bracket generator. If there isn't the correct amount of teams, sometimes gangs will get a first round bye. I also flipped coins for starting positions so to say that MC was slated to win is a joke. "Some of the best players were disqualified". The only players that I disqualified were proven cheaters. People who were disqualified had been banned for lagswitching, 3rd party applications, or hacking. They should consider themselves lucky that they were not permed from Olympus as a whole, let alone just disqualified from Gang Wars. Forgive for wanting a clean event, without cheaters.

Altis is 270km squared. I REPEAT 270KM SQUARED.
