Does anyone know why my phone charges dreadfully slow when it is plugged into my computer?

Well I have a usb on my alarm clock and one on my power strip and they both charge at normal speeds.

Different voltage output. USB slots with lighting bolts near them have a higher voltage output. But normal usb 2.0 outputs are lower voltage, huge difference then the wall.

It’s power provided to the slot. On ur PC, they are powered primarily for data transfer. An iPhone brick or iPad brick have different resistances that allow for faster charging options. Your power strip is designed to provide power, not data transfer. I’m sure if your power supply had a direct plug to a USB then it would be faster, but it’s not set up that way.
