Please just shut up dude. You make me cringe every time you post. You act like you know the best thing for the server when in reality you dont. We disagree on something that is a small change which in reality costs millions of dollars if done, so no its really isn't that small. You are someone that got mad at a decision and rage quit from Admin and Chief, that is just sad. You got mod b/c Mcdili decided to spend 10+ minutes before they talked about ur mod app talking about how ur a good guy, he shouldn't have removed you, etc. You got given both positions, not necessarily earned them. Don't say people have 0 credibilty just because you don't know who they are, they probably play the server more than you did whilst you were chief. You and the Sr. APD (and apparently staff too) think that civilians fly around in jets everyday checking redzones really quickly. That doesn't happen no one uses jets to check redzones really, most of the time they are roleplay flying in formations and shit. yes it has a good camera (not as good as the hellcat) and yes it goes fast, but still if even used to scout redzones can call out someone is doing a run and that is it, they can't maintain altitude whilst circling the zone (not to mention how loud it is) like planes can. You start to drop if you go that slow. You can read the rest of my points in the post if you'd like. ^_^ also guess what...... IM NOT IN NOBLE ^_^ If people aren't allowed to have their opinion on things than the server will die. you are probably right. very few will be seized. but that is quite a lot of money going bye bye in which people spent most likely to just have fun flying around in them. I've seen u flying around in Admin spawned ones just having fun, its the same thing for them. In reality yes, it can be used to scout the map really quickly, but no one actually does it. Hardly anyone genuinely does it anymore, it costs way too much for busting 1 person doing a box truck run which doesn't even profit you. Most people fly jets around to have fun. If you really think about it, APD patrolling around in Ghosthawks is worse for the server. Sr's pull them whenever they want there are no restrictions on when to pull it besides "high gang activity" which they deem themselves. Just like the APD armed planes, they can pull it and patrol the map all they would like so long as there is someone on the server that is wanted for 350k. That isn't right, some Sr. APD abuse the feature of HVT. Now back to Ghawks, they pull up on ppl doing runs who aren't even allowed to shoot at their helicopter without the ghosthawk going guns hot. So they have the advantage right off the bat, they can lower to the ground safely preparing to hot drop a bunch of ppl. There have been plenty of times newer ppl didn't know that rule and got piped up for it. Now don't get me wrong I am not saying to remove Ghosthawks but limiting them more would probably help, as in responding to high gang activity not seeing 5+ Noble kids on and pulling the hawk but actually witnessing it. I could comfortably say the Ghosthawk is the most OP thing on this server and it is used so loosely for patrolling rather than using it for what it is meant for. High rebel activity, armored vehicles, aerial vehicles, etc. It is the same with the armed plane for the APD as well, there are intended restrictions that are flawed in the system which allows them to "abuse" them. I stand corrected. You can drive it on the ground thru Kavala, but you cannot land it there. You would have to taxi it in as he said.

yes you can slow down, but cannot maintain that speed that a plane can without any issues. If you slow down too much you start to drop. The camera is useless if u can't slow down and stay in the general vicinity for giving callouts

Correct, you are playing as an APD officer, you have to follow the APD handbook. Civilians do not. They have to follow the Server rules and that is it. The speed gap: A jet can not slow down so much doing circles around the redzone scouting, giving exact callouts, etc. So yes you are slower but more impactful with planes for giving out callouts

there is quite a large price gap between the two. A jet costs millions of dollars, then if you catch a run you either have to land that jet or call for ppl in your group/gang to get over there and fight the run whether it is a big or small run. Now you won't profit from catching 1 box truck doing a run. If you do a tempest run you will get around 1 million, that's not even enough to buy a jet. So you still haven't even made your money back yet and not to mention you will split the money you make with the people that robbed them. Not to mention the fact that if the civs lose the fight( the attacking ppl) then they have NLR and cannot return there for 15 minutes. A corp plane costs nothing. 300k first purchase, 180k for t4 + basic insurance.

Also if its about the camera that it has, do we need to bring up the camera on the hellcats that you guys have? I previously sat in a hellcat w/ Crenshaw 1.8km up from meth pro watching a Tempest processing and caught him when he left.

it is fair. it costs millions of dollars. Its utilitiy is scarce so it is pretty balanced seeing how expensive it is as well there is a reason why it costs so much.

from my 3,000 hours on the server. from being in 6+ different gangs over the year including the big gangs which have money like Tree when it was thriving.

Because hardly anyone ever actually uses Jets to fly around checking redzones. Yes you can do it, does anyone really do it? no. Just because they have visible guns on a "Military tactical shooter video game" doesn't mean they should be considered an armed vehicle. The game itself doesn't have jets that don't have planes, so why are you punishing people for wanting to fly a jet which has the ability to shoot disabled.

Majority of the time that someone pulls jets is to fly around and have fun in them. Look at Blue angel in Noble There was Chicago jack almost daily posting fly bys in them and formations and shit. They spend millions of their dollars to have fun in a jet knowing that if they crash that costs them 1.6 million dollars. Now if they land they have a chance of losing all that money.

They can't fit in Kavala with the wingspan of the jet. except its not a good decision.

Most people can't land jets in fields whilst there are chicken fences, stone walls, etc. Most land them at airfields, salt flats, and the aircraft carrier. Thats it. No one is gonna land a jet in the field either way once they are done having fun flying around in it they are going to want to store it. They also drain fuel pretty quickly if I recall correctly

so are medic Ghawks illegal now? Just because it has a visible gun that can't even be used mean that it should be illegal that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Civs hardly have a counter against it as well. It goes over 1600 km/h. you don't see us complaining about it. They are more effective on catching people do runs but is hardly used b/c of the price of it.

you spend millions of dollars on buying a jet. you can only land it at like 5 locations. Not to mention that usually people spend millions of dollars on insurance for it for the sole purpose of it can blow up easily while landing it
