@Dezree, you showed me how to be the staff member I am today. If I ever was struggling with anything I always felt like I could come to you for help, as your responses were always meaningful. I've never actually been able to truly say thank you for all you have helped me with and helped me become. You've always been there for those around you and nothing less than kind-hearted. It's heartbreaking to see you go. o7.

Like drunk GOAT said, it helps. But you'll need more. You need to show your dedicated to the APD and that you put forth efforts to better the APD and those within it. I can tell you not one active staff member tried to get staff as a gateway to Sr. APD. People take on staff and Sr. Roles along with staff because they want to improve the APD and the server. Speaking from experience, they are two things that should often be kept separate when making influential decisions. They are positions that are different in many regards and thus picking those to fill the Sgt. Role should not and often is not based just on one's alternate tags. Like any job if you are not fit for a job you wont be promoted. If you know some people or can put yourself in good positions to be looked at for a promotion, GOOD FOR YOU! But getting yourself in those positions wont mean anything if you cant prove that you should be promoted.

"Getting RDM'ed lmao" - Report it. They'll be banned. "getting robo-copped" - Report it as an APD Application if the RP is truly concerning. Everyone has their own forms of RP and sometimes cops robo-coping is allowed under circumstances. But if a cop does not properly process you it will influence their position in the APD. HOWEVER, just because you don't like their RP, doesn't mean it's bad. If you want to get technical, when cops take you to jail they only want to process you because you are just another criminal. They're not their to play clown games. They're purpose is to be professional and do their job. "Shape up or ship out, everyone is here for a good time" - It seems a little extreme to tell people to leave because you don't approve of their roleplay. This is a light RP server that allows RP and prevents those who break it (FAIL RP). We don't make RP a requirement.

Last Night: Me and 3 other cops came back to HQ after a redzone raid to process someone. We began to pull the suspects out of the returning car and hear "Hands up or be tazed!". Next thing I know theres 5 'Vigis' (unrelated to captured criminals) who managed to wipe the entire representation of a police force in a city and take us to where we could not be saved due to lack GPS and Coms. Theres no saying: "well don't get taken hostage" to being at HQ (where APD should be dominant) when your unaware of your enemy is, and your only option is to surrender or be immediately tazed by a target not in sight. This is a clear example of people intentionally using the Vigi license against it's intended purpose to take advantage of a broken mechanic. A representation of how people notice an unbalance in the system and will exploit it because it benefits them and does not put them at risk of administrative action. Something that can only be fixed by reverting the game mechanics to the original and unbroken state.
