Wars are gang wide and can be started and ended at any time, free to start and finish and joining a gang immediately allows you to participate whereas leaving a gang you'll need to soft log to clear your war status cause shits bugged.

Wars last until one party ends the war, they are free but you must have a high enough rank in your gang to start one. Once the war is started everyone is KOS, if you're wearing tags or not. Once you leave the gang you will still have a red name from the previous gang war so just softlog. A person can join a gang at anytime and they will be at war but they may need to softlog to sync the red names.

Made this a while back with Glux. This is the Homeland Security for the Transitional Authority in the TV show called the Colony. We loved the show and wanted to see if we can recreate it in Arma 3.
