      Dune got caught because it went public, it probably wouldn't have gotten detected by BE if it stayed private

      As with everything, developers arnt going to waste their time on something until it becomes a real problem... Dune started gaining big traction so they decided to figure out how to catch it... Nothing is untraceable, just as nothing is unhackable... So in essence true, they probably wouldn't have caught it if it stayed private and dune devs made little money off it... But then dune wouldn't really be a problem needing to be solved either...
