Altis Life Update 4/4/2016

Update is coming out sometime later today, at that time all servers will go down for maintenance for ~30 mins.

 

  • Added persistent house key system
    •  You can give out permanent property keys by using the property menu with a player nearby
    •  You can 'change the locks' of a property to clear the list of people who have a key
    •  People with a key cannot spawn at the property
    •  Crates can only be accessed if the house owner is online
    •  Anyone with a key can unlock, access trunk, spawn vehicles, turn on the light, etc.
  • Medic DP missions fixed, they can deliver to highway patrol and receive missions form all APD delivery places
  • Medics receive an extra 7,500 for revives, this does not increase the cose of being revived.
  • Cops receive a maximum of 200k for lethaling players, instead of the previous 25k
  • Phone menu overhauled
    • Fits nicely into the Y-Menu
    • If you click on a message, and then click reply, it will take you directly to the UI to send that person a message back.
    • Added a services menu
    • Made the New Message pop-ups a little more custom to Olympus
  • All Big towers have been removed
  • Black market vendors added
  • When a vehicle is pulled from garage it is locked sooner than it previously was
  • Modified vehicle spawn code for persistent vehicles. Helicopters may spawn sideways less
  • Stamina on the hud replaced with virtual carrying weight
  • Medic vehicles can no longer be lockpicked
  • Added a hotkey for opening the virtual inventory. Press 3 to open the virtual inventory.
  • Intro Credits updated to include new Admins, Moderators, and our twitter page
  • Added 30 extra Civ slots

Awesome update, cant wait. But how about McDili's idea in that other thread about splitting APD Cash. Is that still gonna happen or was the idea scrapped?

All money made on cop (Ticket, Arrest, search, seizure, etc) will be split between all cops within 150m.

This is best because if a group of cops in Sophia make money, people in Kavala don't get a cut of someone else's effort.

Also, it discourages channel stacks because the more people you play with the less money you make. On the other hand, when you do work together with other cops, everybody who works together to get a guy or two gets a slice of the pie.

Still gonna happen.

Also update may be delayed until sometime later today (4/4/2016). While setting up some new hardware with OVH the OS failed to install due to some hardware/software issue.

Recommendation:

 

     Add new rank to APD above Sergeant: Gary the Savage

    Loadout-

      Baton because Gary doesn't need a gun- Baton would have a Lethal and Non-Lethal mode

      Unlimited Redgull 

      Sergeant Armor

In addition to that, I think it should be

The one who processes gets 15-20% more than the other cops who are not. Per say there are 3 cops and you are processing somebody wanted for 200K and he pays the ticket, instead of having 66K split across the 3, I personally think it should be 80K for the one processing and 60K for the ones who aren't.

I may have missed some towers Cus I rushed it but I got every main one that everyone goes to usually but there are still maybe some random vanilla towers in the open somewhere.

 

edit: shit I forgot old warzone outpost tower but oh well who goes there anyway

Great. Now all of the remaining towers will become Hoovervilles for all of the idiots who will soon suffer from quick-peek withdrawals.

I didn't realize the update hadn't been applied yet lol. I was so confused when I was in-game because I couldn't find the black markets.

Oops forgot to update that part. We tested it, They didn't' spawn in sideways ever, and after fixes they never spawned in damaged.

It's basically 3 barrack buildings around the map with a small Redzone where you can go and it has a rebel market, normal gun shop,clinic,clothing and general store and it also has a air/ground garage, I also made it so you don't need a rebel or gun license to use so like Vigilantes and stuff can use it for there needs.

Last I heard from @Poseidon, network settings are being adjusted to more properly handle the de-sync issues. So, some-time today hopefully.
