basically when you unlock a vehicle all of its doors swing wide open, which actually exposes the passengers if it is an Armored vehicle. For example, if you want to drop on someone with an Ifrit, you need to unlock it. If you unlock it, you can be shot out before you get a chance to exit the vehicle, as all of the doors are literally wide open.

Well I like that, because honestly circling people with ifrits and then hopping out is gay as fuck.

Maybe you should be a little more tactical about it then, and only open the doors when you really need to? A person hopping out of a closed vehicle and being able to shoot instantly makes a ton of sense... /sarcasm

Yay for the hatchback sports! Now I'll be less likely to deny service due to long distance... Unless I just don't feel like it, in which case I'll probably say I'm busy. 

I wouldn't worry about the doors opening and closing. It's just an animation. I tested it with my strider; I tried shooting at the occupants inside the vehicle when the doors were open, I tried shooting people on the other side of the vehicle when the doors were open, and I tried throwing a flash bang into the crew compartment. The rounds along with the flash-bang bounced off of the opening; it's as if the doors aren't open at all. Depending on who you are, it's either a really good thing, or it's a really bad thing.

They are for the new Altis Highway Patrol.  They are available to Corporals and above.  Im not sure what type of guidelines Mcdili made, but they should be used to go patrol the MSR when using the AHP hatch texture.  If you're not a fan then dont use them, simple as they ;).

Because we've talked about adding it in the past but thought it was not possible to do without mods, then I checked the addon: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=29228

I think it looks cool, but makes the game feel weird when you see it in action. I guess when you've played for nearly 2 years change is difficult.

Lights and sirens for quad and the APD boat. 

Now I feel less guilty rolling up on poachers without having sirens!

Oh side note. Will the news team slots have the role switch cool-down? *Does the news team count as a separate role from civilian? 

I suppose the roles are divided up by Blufor, Independant, and Civilian?

Skins will be fixed today. The issue is some skins, even cop ones, for the sports are limited to donator level. Same thing with R&R sports/mohawk.
